When doctors don't recognize a heart attack

Yes, I am angry with the public healthcare system. I would like to make an official complaint about this.

What happened to someone I know:

Heart symptoms that make it impossible to walk more than a few meters. Two doctors at the health center said that the ECG showed nothing. The cardiologist at the hospital later said that it indeed did. They took blood tests, but not the one that would reveal a heart attack (troponin).

I wonder how these people can live with themselves? Their wrong decisions kill people.

Then the patient has to order an ambulance, and the doctor tells them that they should have come earlier. Heart attack and balloon dilation.

Well, it's a wonder that the ambulance even came, and even gave them a ride. Nowadays, they more often tell you to come by your own car, or by taxi.

I've sometimes wondered whether the performance bonus for paramedics depends on agreeing to take as few people as possible on the ride. And for emergency responders, on agreeing to send help to the scene as infrequently as possible.
